SEEN

There isn’t one person I’ve met who wants to walk through life felling like no one cares. Who wants to feel invisible. For me, I want to be seen for who I really am, and not just a piece of me, but all of me. To say I’m a mom is completely accurate at the same time it is limiting because I’m more than that, though that consumes a lot of my time and energy.

In the same way, we all walk around desperately wanting someone to notice and acknowledge that we’re doing well or we’re struggling. There’s a hard truth behind this all: we’re all walking around with a major struggle making our shoulders slump and something we’re proud of that and desperate to share. How different would the world look if we treated each other like people who need to be seen as much as we do?

How about you? Do you need to be seen? What's burning in you to tell the world about? What are you struggling with? Can I pray for you?

There’s a comments section, I invite everyone to be seen here. This is a place I will keep it safe to be seen.
