Poem: God Lives in Me

God Lives in Me When my mind is racing Heart thumping fast When I can’t remember How I’m supposed to Just be still The God that lives in me Is far more mighty Than the anxiety Agitating me Making me spin He insulates me Going through The panic with me Never leaving No matter what comes He is the God that lives in me The One and only Who created the world Who loves more deeply Than I’ve ever understood No matter what I face, Be it in the world Or inside my own head, I won’t face it alone because God lives in me
