God Can Do It Without Me

Oh! Did I just title a blog post that? Yeah, I did. What the heck Becca? If you are asking me that, then read on because that’s kind of crazy and you can take it two huge ways. If you know me even a little, my take on it won’t be a shock. I promise.

First thing you can take from that is that I might be quitting on God. Nope. Nope. Nope. Not one bit.

Second take: God doesn’t actually need me to do anything He is doing.

Kinda make you feel small? Yeah, me too. It makes me feel like I don’t matter all that much until I add to it the WHY He doesn’t need me.

He’s God. He does His thing and has a long game no human is equipt to begin to grasp. We just aren’t capable of focusing that big. Universe big guys. We’re not designed for that. It’s cool though. God made us to be microscopes in His HUGE plans. That means He wants to focus on certain things with each of our lives and do what He is doing WITh us.

see, it’s super cool. We aren’t NEEDED, we are WANTED! My kids needed me as babies. It was EXHAUSTING! Now, they want to spend time with me. It’s still exhausting, but it’s amazing too. Being wanted by the Creator of the universe is so much better than being needed.

It’s good to be with God going through life. It takes the pressure off to recognize that He doesn’t need me, but wants me to do what I’m doing because He picked me to do it with Him. Out of billions. He picked just me. I love that so much. He’s picked you too, if you’ll Let Him lead.
