Storytelling

Storytelling is a labor of love. We writers don't tell stories for money. We don't spend hours, days, weeks, on projects that may never see the light of day because we want to cash in on our talent.

Truly, crafting a novel or any book is exciting and nerve wracking and beautiful. Wrestling to find the right words, sometimes even just a single word, can take all day. Or even weeks. Writing a book is far from simple and the feeling of writing THE END for the fist time on a project is euphoric.

It is also a beginning to that next step that can leave us all pulling our hair out: editing.

If I didn't love storytelling, I wouldn't be so excited to get back into my book and get neck deep in fixing my grammar and words.
